Please note that our Bishop has announced the restoration of the obligation to attend Sunday Mass and Holy Days of Obligation as of July 1, 2021.
We are very happy to invite you back to Mass with us on Sundays and holy days of obligation. Bishop Olmsted has written a beautiful letter letting us know he is restoring the obligation to attend Mass together, in person, as of July 1, 2021. At the same time, we will no longer offer Holy Communion after the 9:00am Mass. The Mass will still be live-streamed for the sick and homebound.
The clergy and staff of St. Mary Magdalene understand that this may be an unsettling prospect for those who have been participating via live-stream and coming for communion afterwards. Therefore, we want to encourage you to read Bishop’s letter and understand the exceptions for attending Mass that have always been in place.
If you have any questions or concerns about these recent updates, please feel free to talk to Father Chris or Fr. Sylvester. Thank you for your kindness and understanding as we continue to do our best in providing a welcoming place for our family of families to worship God.
