Called & Gifted explores the unique role of each Catholic—and the local parish—in the Church’s mission to the world, and why charisms are essential in helping laypeople serve others and build vibrant Christian communities. You’ll learn the signs and characteristics of 24 common charisms and how discovering and using your charisms can transform your life, your parish, and the world around you. It is a three-part process. You will be signing up for all three parts.
Part One: Sat, Jul 26 from 9:00am-4:00pm
The Workshop lays the foundation for the beginning of discernment. During the initial Called & Gifted workshop, the participants learn about the charisms and take the Catholic Spiritual gifts inventory.
Part Two: Sun, Jul 27 - Fri, Aug 8: 1 hour gifts interview.
The interview aids in identifying potential areas of giftedness and sets the stage for actual experimentation during the discernment in depth discernment sessions.
Part Three: Discernment Sessions on Saturdays from 9:00-10:30am (Come at 8:00am to join us for Mass before the workshop.): Aug 9, Sep 13, Oct 11, Nov 8:
These sessions help you begin to discern in the real world, reaching you how to develop your charisms and identify ways you learned to control your life, and ways you may be interfering with God bringing you true joy in your life!
Cost: $40 for parishioners and $60 for non-parishioners. Includes lunch.
